To all of you beautiful readers,

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your friendship, readership and support over the past 12 months. I have so enjoyed sharing my own and others’ pursuits of God this past year. I am taking a 3 week break now to enjoy time with my family, read, relax, do some other writing projects and prepare for what 2016 will bring on the blog.

On this Christmas Eve, may you take time to stop in the hustle and bustle to consider the Saviour who came as a babe, grew to be a man, died the unjust-death of a criminal and rose to proclaim His Lordship, Kingship and Deity. If you haven’t yet knelt before His wooden manger and wooden cross, may you take time to consider the real meaning of Christmas and the real cost of His love for you and me. It isn’t wrapped up with a pretty Christmas bow, it is raw and real but it is the only answer for meaning in this life and eternity with Him in the next. For more information, look at my page The Gospel.

Here is a little video clip that Dave shared with me earlier in advent, that caused my tears to flow as I considered just how REAL Jesus was and is.

Blessings and Love to you this Christmas,

Emily (and the rest of the Cobb family x)
