About Me

Hi There,

I am Emily. I am a follower of Jesus, wife to David and mother to three blessings. I am an Australian and love this beautiful country and people! 

My husband Dave and I are both teachers and are passionate about people coming to love Jesus and discovering who God is through the Bible.

I started this blog as a way of holding myself accountable to pursue God myself and knowledge of him. I also was busy with two littlies (since then have become three) and so wanted to have an outlet for writing.

Since starting the blog, I have come to love the process of writing, deepen my appreciation for words and the way they come together, and also find such delight in seeing the way God is growing me and others in the Pursuits of God community.

In March of 2018, my first book “Made for More” was published by Matthias Media and can be purchased through Matthias Media directly or through Koorong. “Made for More” is a book written for women, explaining the basics of the Christian faith.
